400 MTD MSW TO COMPOST Using Aerobic Digestion.

INTRODUCTION & PROCESS:-

  •  At Compost Plant, Patiala, we receive around 500 Metric Ton of Fresh Municipal Solid Waste on Daily Basis from Municiapal limit of Patiala city. We convert this MSW to Compost using Aerobic Digestion process which involves following Process.
  •  Creating windrows of the incoming waste.
  •  Weekly Culturing and turning of windrow for 4 weeks.
  •  Screening the digested waste through two stage screening process to produce high quality City Compost.

COMPOST PRODUCTION & DISTRIBUTION:-

  •  Hari Bhari is producing around 20,000 MT per annum of City Compost from Patiala Plant. These composts are being consumed by farmers occupying around 20,000 Acres around the MSW Processing Plants at both the locations.
  •  To promote City Compost Hari Bhari has decided to distribute it’s Compost free of cost to around 5000 Farmers within a radius of 10 KM of the plant at Patiala.

ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIAL GOVERNANCE (ESG) IMPACT:-

  •  Carbon Di Oxide Saved Per Annum: 1,31,400 MT.
  •  Carbon Di Oxide Saved Per Day: 360 MT.
  •  Carbon Di Oxide Saved October 2016 Onwards: 7,88,400 MT.
